This happens only on bootup, not waking up from sleep mode. The Welcome screen stays there for at least five minutes or so. This happens often.Ģ) After pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL, selecting my account, and entering my password, the 'Welcome' screen appears. The Ease-of-Access button can't be used, and the computer stops making the clicking noises that are associated with (loading? Or computing?). The only things on the screen are the blue background, the Ease-of-Access button, the Windows 7 Home Premium logo, and the mouse.
I'll list all that I can remember.ġ) Upon the 'Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to begin' screen, pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL will remove the message, but freezes the computer.
I've noticed that there seems to be a significant amount of login issues associated with my Windows 7 laptop.
